New member from Chicago Area

Hi Everyone,

My name is Adrian Scurtu and I'm from the Chicago area. Live in Downers Grove and work in Lincolnshire, so I'm all around the city. I'm hoping to start investing in real estate in the near future (buy and hold or flip), and a friend of mine on this site said great things about this community. I wanted to join to learn more about real estate and also provide any help if I can.

I have some background in real estate as I grew up in a large family of construction workers and real estate investors (I just haven't taken the plunge myself, yet). I'm also an accountant and work with many real estate investor clients. So if I can give any help or advice about my area, construction, or taxes, I'd love to help out as I'm sure I'll also get good help and advice from this community.
