Hi All,
My name is Keaton Roberson. I'm currently living in McDonough, GA (right south of Atlanta) and working as a financial analyst in Atlanta looking to become a sponge in the community and learn as much as possible about real estate. I am a recent grad from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Entrepreneurship/ Small Business Management.
I've been passionate about real estate my entire life and hope to one day work full time in the industry. I passed on going into real estate right out of college for the steady income of a 9-5 to pay off my student loans and set my financial foundation in place to allow me to become the investor I hope to be. Now I am excited to begin my learning process with the professionals on this site.
Ideally, I would love to learn from a seasoned professional in the Atlanta market who truly has the heart of a teacher and who believes that our partnership could be of mutual benefit. Like I mentioned earlier, I desire to be a sponge and learn as much as possible and I plan to do this by whatever means necessary to help my mentor succeed so that in turn I can have endless learning opportunities.
My experience in real estate is limited but I have spent time interning with a local property management firm during college. My goals, like many on this site, are to begin flipping houses initially to raise enough capital for long-term hold investments with steady income from rent. I am a little unique in that I truly desire to perform majority of the renovation work myself and make this my full time occupation. So I would love to be hands on and learn that process as well.
I look forward to meeting you all and please reach out with questions you have, or if you would like to know more about me!
Thank you all in Advance!
Keaton

Welcome @Keaton Roberson! If you need advice just reach out. I've got 24 years as a landlord and 10+ in the management business. I manage about 500 doors all over Atlanta and I own about 40 rentals of my own.
