My name is Ernie LaRose. I am from "The Quiet Corner" of northeast CT. I have dabbled in real estate investing for many years. I run a successful manufacturing and consulting business outside of real estate, which has given me the opportunity to supplement my income on the side. I have done many land deals. developed and sold 2 new constructions, and done 4 fix and flips. My manufacturing business is very economy driven and tends to move in cycles, so about five years ago I decided to look into buy and hold. My plan was simply to do one deal every year that business was good and the positive cash flow from these rentals would help us through any economic slowdowns. Fast forward to now, and I own 5 single families. All are rented and cash flowing.

Thankfully business has remained fantastic throughout. My plan moving forward is to do two deals a year until I have 10 total and then reanalyze my goals. I was very thankful to have found the BP podcast. I have learned some great ideas that I will apply as I go forward, and the resources I've discovered from the interviews are terrific. I don't want to go too long with this post so if anyone wants to hear details of any of my transactions they can feel free to contact me. I'm no expert but I'm glad to help out any other investor any way I can. I have made at least one mistake on every deal I've done so I am constantly learning.

I will try to update my profile over the next few weeks. I have started checking out a few deals locally because my goal is to do my first 2017 house in January.
