Hello BiggerPockets,

My name is Jordan and I've recently graduated with my bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. I work as a civil engineer-in-training for a consulting office that mainly deals with municipal/bridge design and construction management. We typically operate in central/northern Alberta and BC.

I've always had interest in real estate investing but never seemed to have the time (or make time) to educate myself. Recently I stumbled upon BiggerPockets podcasts and since I drive A LOT for my work I decided I would give them a shot! In less than a week I managed to listen to at least 20 podcasts and was able to learn way more than I would have imagined given my busy work schedule.

Full disclosure - I have never owned a property or been involved in any real estate transactions. However my finances are in check and I'm definitely motivated to become more involved.

As a beginner, I'd like to focus more on cash flowing properties (multi-family) and potentially look more into flipping. So far BiggerPockets has helped me get started on these topics and I hope to learn more soon!
