New Member from New Jersey

Hello BP Community! My name is Abel Mendez and I live in the Englewood Cliffs area of North NJ. I would like to begin investing by summer 2017 in NJ and NY to start. I've been listening to the podcasts, began reading a BP book and am watching YouTube videos on REI. As suggested in one of the podcasts, I've been looking at properties online so that I can become familiar with the process and what's available. The prices for property in NJ/NY are insane but I look forward to making this real estate thing happen! Since NY is a renters markets, condos have peaked my interests. At this point, I'm only interested in cash flow. I'm also interested in investing out of state but I question the limited returns I would earn after paying a management company. Would anyone be able to recommend a solid and reputable management company out of state? Turnkey properties are interesting as well but my management property concern is there as well. Would anyone be able to recommend an agent who invests as well in North NJ and Bronx NY? As time goes by, I hope I can contribute to BP to help the community as I am sure the community will help me.
