Newbie from Chicago, IL

Hi everyone, 

I am a recent College grad working in Chicago, Illinois as a Data Scientist. I've been interested in investing in alternative asset classes for a long time now and recently built an Art Investment platform/Auction price Prediction engine for high-end art in the Hong Kong and Macau area. 

I'm relatively new when it comes to real estate investing, but have been educating myself for a good while and devouring nearly every resource I can get my hands on. I am very quantitatively inclined with experience in programming, big data, and product development. 

As someone who has worked hard and scraped by on little as a first generation immigrant, I've come to a point where I wish to generate multiple sources of income (and real wealth) for myself and my family. I hope bigger pockets can help me find my niche in real estate and the right investment strategies as an individual with currently relatively small savings, but big ambitions.
