New Member from Southern California
Hi BP community! I just recently started listening to the BP podcast and am just now joining the community. I was introduced to BP by a friend, and I'm excited to be jumping in. I'm a network engineer in my day job, but my real work is at home. I'm married and have a son who is 3 and a daughter who is 8 months old. When I'm not working, lately I've been fixing up our home to get maximum value when we sell, but I prefer to spend my time with my family or woodworking when I can.
I am brand new to real estate and I want to learn as much as I can. My wife and I have one property, which is our primary residence, and according to Zillow we have $146k in equity right now. Our plan is to sell in the next 8 months and move to Tennessee where we plan to start our real estate investing journey. My goal in the mean time is to learn as much as I can and prepare for how we'll do our first deal.
