Good morning everyone! I have recently been stationed at Fort Hood and was introduced to bigger pockets by a co-worker and good friend. I haven't been able to get enough of real-estate since. I'm really hoping to purchase my first duplex in the Killeen area. I'm looking forward to being a part of this awesome online community.

Welcome Vanessa, to Killeen, and thank you for your service! We just bought a SFR in Killeen as a buy and hold and an offer on another. Buying a duplex and living in one side while renting out the other, or renting out both sides is a great way to start. @Kevin McNeely is an agent in Killeen and retired military and knows a lot about the market.
