Hello, I'm currently a service member of the US Army and I'm looking into investing in real estate in the Miami, Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, Miami Lakes and Hialeah area.  I'd like to invest in codos, single homes, studios and two family homes.  I'm new to real estate investing and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I possibly can from each and everyone of you.  Thank you all so much for the opportunity.

I'm also from Miami Lakes. I went to Goleman and Dade Christian. 

As @Brett Snodgrass, you definitely want to read the guide just to get you started. 

I highly recommend visiting your local rea estate investors association aka "REIA." I'm the Director at the Broward Real Estate Investors Association and I started off not knowing anything about real estate.

I got most of my experience and knowledge from being in BREIA's mentorship program. We actually have a rea estate boot camp coming up. 

Our next meeting is this Wednesday, September 7th. Have you seen the show Shark Tank? We're having our own Live Shark Tank where investors are going to pitch their deals to the Sharks. It's gets really good!
