Hi everyone,

My name is John Koontz and I've been reading BP for a little while and thought it time to sign up. I'm not new to forums as I've been an admin and moderator for many years elsewhere.

I have an engineering and business background.

As far as real estate experience, my wife and I own one rental property (about 8 years) which was our first home. I've had interest for years to do more. Now is the time. I'm interested in long term rentals, flips, residential, commercial, and trust deeds.

I'm located in southern California, and am familiar with the areas in Orange County, Riverside County and San Bernardino County. I've also lived in New Hampshire, Atlanta and Michigan, and are familiar with the areas, less so about the markets. My investing is not limited by location. Especially since southern California is so tough right now.

Also familiar with business ownership.

Looking forward to networking, learning and contributing.
