As I move from learning to putting my knowledge to practical use I will be needing a wholesale investor friendly escrow agent or lawyer, where can I find them so I am not stuck trying to find one if needed at the last minute? I am in Souther California area Long Beach area to be exact but plan on working a wide range of areas in Southern California.
FYI - An investor friendly lawyer will do nothing for you in Ca, if you don't have an escrow officer who knows how to close the deal. I have been doing these investor deals for years and have quite a few loyal clients on BP. :)
@Dawna Sanchez I met with the attorney today and found that she was knowledgeable regarding REI, as she is a real estate investor also. She stated that she has experience in flipping, wholesaling, buy and holds, and the familiarity of real estate documents to ensure correctness and. I plan on using her when I need legal advice or to look over documentation. If you're interested, her name is Amanda Potier in LB.
@Shannon Wright You are right that an experienced escrow officer is needed to close deals.
