Hello BP Members,

I'm a newbie to the site after hearing about BP through a friend who is into real estate investing (buy and hold rental properties). I am interested in purchasing properties to rent out, and am excited to connect with the many experienced investors on this site. I'm brand new to real estate investing, and still learning what the right questions to ask are. My dream is to be financially free of my primary job for paying expenses by owning properties that generate a cash flow and I think I've found the right community to reach out to. I look forward to getting to know more of the members in this site. I'm living in the Houston, TX area (an hour south in Lake Jackson) but am open to investing outside of my state.

I live in Lake Jackson also and am currently rehabbing my 4th rental property. I've been at it for a little over a year now, so I still have a lot of questions myself.
