Newbie member from Gaithersburg Maryland

Hello everyone! 

My name is Dennis Mejillones. I want to say I'm a newbie investor because in reality I dont have much experience, but I do own a condo in Florida for 12 years now which I have been renting out for about 10 years. I also have my primary residence which I have owned for the last 5 years and I just closed on a second home in Florida. That being said I have no real experience in actual investing and flipping which is something I have been interested in for years and finally feel comfortable committing myself to and jumping into.  I currently live in Gaithursburg Maryland and work at Bethesda Games Studios as a Senior Character Artist making video games. 

My goal is to get into house flipping initially and eventually add more rentals as I grow as an investor. I'm not super familiar with what realistic expectations are as far as growth rate via real estate investment, but I am hoping that in 5 years my wife can quit her job if not sooner and in 10 years I myself can roll into real estate investing full time. If I can make it happen sooner thats great but I figure 10 years is a reasonable expectation. I do love my job so its not that I hate it, but I want to be free honestly and work on my own terms so I can hopefully build a legacy for my children and spend more time with my family. Besides even though I love my job, it can be grueling and I figure I only have 10 years before I burn out there anyway. 

Well thats pretty much my deal, I feel super fortunate to have found this site and hopefully grow along side you guys as an investor, and perhaps even do good business with some of you some day.
