Hi there, I am a newbie, interested in doing real estate investment in my home town, San Antonio, TX ( been here for l2 years). I have been doing some research, come up with the plan: Buy and hold rental houses: 1. Locations: Stone Oaks vs Alamo Height vs Medical Center. 2. Type of properties: Entry level single family houses. 3. Finance: Will do 20% down payment, price ranges 200-300K 4. Will use a management company. 5. Raising money now, likely will be able to buy the first one at the end of the year. Needs your advices in all aspect. Thank you

I'd go with Med center @Hong Vu, there are still some cash flow opportunities in that area.  Rent/value ratios make Stone Oak and Alamo Heights hard to cash flow.
