Hello BP! I am really excited to join the Bigger Pockets community and begin my real estate investing business. My wife and I moved to Richmond a little over a year ago for her work. She is a museum specialist working for the navy and I am a general manager for a retail company in Midlothian. We are looking to begin investing in multi-family properties beginning with a primary residence of a 3plex/4plex. My personal goal is to be financially free within 10 years. We love traveling, volunteering, fitness, learning new things and meeting new people. I am excited to get to know more about investing and the members of the BP community.

Hi Tim! Like you, I am new to the BP forum and looking forward to making connections and moving out of the corporate rat race at some point. I spent 29 years in the Richmond area (12 in Chesterfield and 14 in Henrico) before moving to Ft. Myers, FL last year. Lots of opportunities in both counties around Richmond. I haven't found the city of Richmond ripe with real estate deals. Still have family in Richmond and get back there a couple times a year to visit. Let me know if you have some questions about the area or want to bounce ideas off each other.
