Hi Bigger Pockets community,

I'm excited to learn from this community of real estate professionals and enthusiasts. I'm 26, a small business owner, currently renting an apartment in a multifamily house, but researching and planning to purchase my own multifamily, begin my real estate investing portfolio and live rent-free. I look forward to joining in the conversation and learning from everybody here.

I'm from Rhode Island as well and recently started investing multifamilys this year. I have grown my portfolio to 56 units to date so I'm happy to provide you with some advice on purchasing your first one.

    Congratulations on making the decision to move from being a renter to an owner. 

    Have you decided yet whether or not you want to be an owner / occupier for you first purchase and where in RI you would like to purchase?
