Aspiring Investor from Eastern Pennsylvania

Hello BP community! I am 32 years old and have spent the better part of my professional life working in sales and marketing capacities. Currently, I make my living as a freelance writer, which means that I make my own schedule and can be available to scout properties and conduct business during business hours.

I've been interested in real estate investing since 2009 when I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad but until finding the BP community, I didn't know where to start or how to find funds to do a deal.

This past year I helped a family member select a bank-owned foreclosure in Eastern PA and helped coordinate the rehab of that property.

I'd like to network with REIs who can help me develop a wholesaling business for the time being, so I can build funds to start purchasing fix-and-flips. I like the concept of a BRRR strategy and would like to become active doing my own rehabs and building my own rental portfolio in the coming years.

Thanks in advance to all of those who reach out and offer support.
