New From Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

My name is Zakk Gipson Im from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. I'm looking to begin investing with the goal of making it my full time job and career. I've just recently began my education in real estate with a few books that have been recommended on BP. My only experience with real estate is the construction side, never any investments. Im looking to network on here with people that don't mind sharing their knowledge and are willing to point me in the right direction to get started. I've read differing opinions on getting started, some say buy and hold rental properties is the way to go, while others suggest fix and flips. So any advice is appreciated.
