Hello all! I’m fairly new to real estate investing, and so far have purchased one single family home in Youngstown area. I’m interested in learning more about the Cleveland market, and am planning to take a trip out that way in the near future to check out local neighborhoods in person. Within the year, I’d like to buy a couple of multi-family homes with cash or owner finance.

Down the road, I want to work my way into apartment buildings.  I’m focusing on working class areas because they seem to cash flow better.

I’m open to advice from other members on investing in the Cleveland area. Any neighborhoods you see as up-and-coming, or war zones to avoid?

If anyone can recommend property managers that you’ve had a positive experience with, I’d appreciate the referrals.
