New New Jersey Buy and Holder

Hello BP Community! I am a first time poster and fairly new member to BP. I am very new to the Real Estate Investing Community. I hope to close on my first deal late within coming months! I am looking to invest in buy and hold properties in the central NJ region.

I am looking for some local Northern New Jersey real estate groups to help me gain some knowledge and insight into investing.  What are some local events, groups and blogs I can use to get more of an understanding?

Welcome. I am not too far away from you and also am in Somerset county NJ. I am a buy and hold investor as well. Get in touch with Darren  Sager on here. He arranges the meet ups which usually take place in NYC, And he is an all around great guy too!
