Newbie in San Antonio TX
Hi all,
I recently moved to San Antonio from the Chicago area. My real estate goals for 2016 are to purchase my primary residence and one rental property (both 3/2 sfh). I'm interested in accruing a small number of buy and hold rental properties for retirement income. I have a full time job as a brain injury researcher which I love, so my real estate endeavors are a part-time hobby. I'm looking to connect with experienced wholesalers, construction, realtors, attorney, CPA, etc. who can help me acquire and turn deals into rentals. Because I'm new to the area, I'm looking at north, northeast, and northwest sides for now, preferably inside the 1604 loop and in a desirable school district. My primary residence has to be within 1/2 hour driving distance to SAMMC, where I work. I welcome advice about how realistic my goals are.
I'm learning a lot from the BP community. Thank you all for sharing your experience and wisdom!
Lisa
