New member from Oregon

Hello Everybody!

I have had a desire to invest for a long time but never had a clue how to do it. I really want to learn and make a career change. My family and I live in Prineville OR and we love it. We like bend too, but since we both grew up in the country it only makes since that we live out here. Gotta love the smell of cow poo in the morning. 

I currently work for a non-profit that takes low-income and at-risk youth on various adventure trip in Oregon.  So, spend a lot of my time at Smith Rock State park hiking and climbing, as well as on the river white water rafting.  

I'm really interested in buy and hold investments, and potentially flipping. Anyway I look forward to learning from everyone here on the forum and maybe meeting in person.
