Hey Everyone,

My name is Frank Houpt, I'm brand new to real estate and brand new to this site. I live and work on a cattle ranch just outside of Carbondale. My interest in real estate investing was sparked a few years ago due to a Rich Dad Poor Dad weekend seminar I attended. A bit of a sales pitch, but it really did get me excited about investing. I found the bigger pockets podcast a few weeks ago, and have been listening to it religiously. I love the straight forward conversations, and real-life experiences shared on it, awesome, awesome show! As you can imagine, the podcast led me to the site, and I am extremely excited to be a part of it! My plan, as of now, is to create a buy and hold style business, initially funded and grown, by fix and flip deals. Right now I am looking at areas around Fort Collins and Longmont, CO. Seems like there may be opportunity for some lower priced homes there, and plenty of people looking to rent. I'm excited to learn from all of you and hope to be able to contribute some knowledge of my own. Thanks to Josh, Brandon and everyone else who has worked so hard to make bigger pockets what it is today. I feel really fortunate to have found this community.

Hi Frank, I miss Carbondale I use to go up to the mountain fair every year.  Live music and open containers.
