I'm an engineer looking to develop passive income.  I'm looking primarily at single family rental property.  The game plan is to learn the basics before my first purchase within the year.  Let me know where my education begins!  Thus far I've read through Rich Dad Poor Dad, am buying the bigger pockets, "The Book.." today, and have begun discussions with my friend who consults in Property Valuation for insurance companies.

Thanks,

Derek - welcome to the BP Community.  I'm a newbie here as well and just signed up for my account last week.  I've been in Columbus real estate community for quite a while, and perhaps it's worth us grabbing a cup of coffee sometime.  Hit me back if you feel like getting together for general networking purposes sometime.

Nick
