I have just discovered Biggerpockets.com and am finding it very informative. I started my real estate investing in 2006 just before the recession. That has slowed me down quite a bit and am just now getting reading to consider investing again. I am very interested in multifamily properties. I currently own a four plex in Joliet, IL. The cash flow from the property has "carried the day" as my LTV is not looking good because I bought in 2006. I would love to add my portfolio. Managing the property has been challenging at times but the cash flow keeps me at it. Real estate taxes are killer here so don't know if I will be investing again in Illinois.
