Hello! My name is Brandon, I'm currently 21 years old and in the United States Army. I'm new to Real Estate Investing and would like to learn as much as possible about it. I'm interested specifically in rentals because I see slot of potential in that aspect and it seems more like something I would like as opposed to say flipping.

I do have some concerns or uncertainties because I don't know when exactly I should take the plunge into purchasing a property. I have been saving quite a bit but I only have about 10K. How much should I save up before investing? I see 20% down as a good rule of thumb?
