Houston TX Real Estate Newbie

Greetings to the BP Community,

I am more than grateful to have stumbled upon this site which I have found to be an educational gem in a market that is so oversaturated with unhelpful tidbits that only exist to lure you to purchase help or guides usually for a minimum of $500 and I've seen marketing for help guides that run into the thousands.

Fortunately for me, I believe that there is a community of professionals that is willing to exchange help, advice and education simply because its something they are passionate about. It is my goal to be able to resign from my 9-5 within the next 18 months by establishing a presence in the real estate community. I am currently preparing to get my Real Estate License; meanwhile I am definitely excited to get my feet wet with Wholesaling. It is my intention to use funds I acquire from wholesaling to fund future projects such as rentals and flipping properties.

I am looking to be a sponge and simply soak up as much knowledge as I can possibly retain and to network and build relationships like there is no tomorrow.
