Good Afternoon BP Forum,

Newbie from the Bklyn NY area. Looking to learn, grow and share in this community. After binging on BP Podcast the last few weeks and trying to learn the lingo, my wife and I have decided its time to engage :-)

Did a "House Hack" (New Lingo :-) several years back in Brownsville with a cousin and three of four apts took care of the mortgage. Allowed me to save and purchase in NJ. Short story long, don't see that happening now that I'm back in Bk.

We're currently on the hunt in Bronx NY--Brooklyn has gotten ridiculous it seems for those who don't want to subsidize their tenants to live with them. Da' Bronx seems to be on that same trajectory now too as we've noticed in the amount of permits being issued and all the formerly empty lots with construction barriers set up.

Hoping to exchange any creative ideas as we work the "get rich slow" plan.
