New Investor out of Tucson, Arizona
Greetings out of Tucson!
My name is Anyce Paquette, I am a Tucson-based "newbie" interested in learning. I have a background in Interior Design / Architecture and have been wanting to expand that expertise into the ability to purchase, hold, and flip properties throughout the state of Arizona. I have not purchased a property before, and am interested in learning all that I can before taking the first step.
I am extremely interested in Multifamily properties, and potentially leaning my expertise towards the "Student Housing" market, as Arizona has three major universities within the state. Tucson has a significant number of duplex/triplex/quadplex units as well as small apartment complexes (20-40 units) that I would be interested in getting my hands into. I have a natural draw towards the "flipping" sector, as my background tends to lead me in that direction, but at this point only consider this as a secondary form of investment, wanting to invest the majority of my time and money into buy and hold properties.
My short-term goal would be to flip a few homes to help develop substantial capital to purchase my first multifamily property (triplex/quadplex), in which I would like to live/rent/self manage. In the longer-term, I would like to obtain several more small, multifamily units and a small apartment complex (20-40 units), that could eventually be managed under a property manager and generating positive cash flow.
At this point, I'm looking to learn and expand the knowledge that I currently have of construction and equity building. I am open to new connections, new information, even mentorships or internships. I am willing to share my knowledge and expertise for yours, and look forward to learning something new!
Thank you all for your time, and I look forward to meeting you.
All the best,
Anyce Paquette, Tucson, Arizona
