Hi - Starting fresh in Ontario, Canada

Hi everyone - I've been snooping (Learning & Listening) from you all for a couple of weeks now and finally have decided to introduce myself!  Been a long time investor in the markets (since my teens) but I'm tired of the small SLOW margins ~ Make money, loose money, start all over again... That rule they taught me years ago about RRSP doubling every 7 years, well, it's been about 21 years and I'm no where near doubling the amount I've put in.

Currently re-negotiating my mortgage and plan to use the equity in my home to start looking at Buy & Hold in South/Western Ontario in Multi-Family residences... either a smaller apartment building OR a few 4-5 Bedroom university properties, not entirely sure yet.  I love all the podcasts and have made my way through about 4 of them so far.  Unfortunately, I am a Type-A personality and am SO BAD at asking for help, but I've recently been "told" to get over it, ask for help & offer help, so here I am!

I'm hoping to connect with like-minded people in the Toronto Area (or elsewhere) just to bounce ideas off and hopefully to connect with some great realtors or wholesalers that can help me find that Giant Diamond in the Rough to start the ball rolling.

And, to possibly give me that nudge to actually take the leap - talk soon, Laura
