New here. Vacation rentals - Can it be done?
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Bothell WA and just getting started in real estate investing. I just put an offer on a log cabin in Ashford, WA (outside of Mt. Rainier) and I think I will be able to get it to pay for itself by renting it out. My husband is a software developer and needs to live in the city where the jobs are and I miss living in the woods where I grew up so this will be a good compromise for us. I am here to share my vacation rental experience and also learn from others on investing in vacation rentals.
I also want to quit working in seven years so I can enjoy the cabin more. I'm here to learn from everyone about strategies to make that happen.
