Experienced flipper in Illinois but still seeking

Hi BP members,

I am a avid reader and a part time flipper. I have done with my husband a few successful flips in NWI and some in illinois. I currently have two houses going currently but not going very smoothly. Once our flips in the past have been done we sell them with in a week. We spend more for higher finishes, better quality, and I put my own design work into them. The last flip we did we had 15 showings in the first two days, had 5 offers and sold it for 15k over list. The problem has been as everyone on here has had issues with is getting to the finish line! Contractors that make promises they can never keep. So frustrating! I hope one day to be able to find the right team of people to work with that has your best interest as much as theirs. Is it really that hard? The more houses we do,  the more I read I belive it's almost impossible! I still have faith but not much left that one day I will find the right contractors, team players to get to the finish line where we both win in this game! It will never work if only one party wins! Good luck to everyone out there and here's to not giving up but still seeking that team that has eluded us from being successful to the point i'm not just burning money waiting for my projects to get worked on while carrying costs continue to accumulate! Hopeless? Not yet but looks like that's the road we're heading towards but I'm still have a little faith that one day I'll find that fork in the road that will lead to brighter days!
