Hi BP community, I am now investing in Charleston, SC with our first home there closing in just a couple of days. We are really excited about investing in Charleston as there seems to be a ton of new jobs coming to town in the near future. I would love to meet some of you Charleston locals who are on BP. We love visiting there and now we have a greater connection to the area.
We are looking another great deal- Single Family Residence or Multi. The unit in question is in W. Ashley and would be interested in another unit there or N. Charleston.

@Mike BargettoCongratulations! I'm jealous. I love Charleston and want to get in on the action. Do you mind sharing details on your deal? Is it a buy and hold? What did you purchase it for and what do you plan to rent it for? Are you going to use property management?

Thanks everybody for the replies to this post. @Chris Strokes I purchased a 3/1.5 1200 sq. ft. SFR in West Ashley for $153,400 appraising for 160k. It will rent between $1350-1425. Because of the high insurance (flood zone) the cash flow will be less than desired but everybody keeps telling me Charleston is better in appreciation than in cash flow.
