Hello everyone,

I am Greg and I am a young and excited real estate investor looking to learn as much as I can and meet some investors along the way.  I am currently living the daily grind of working in a corporate office and am looking to real estate for a way to find financial freedom.

@Greg Olson

Welcome. Real Estate Investing (REI) is not only profitable, it is fun as well. I'm an investor in Minnesota, and have found the podcasts to be quite helpful. Also, the book on house flipping by J. Scott is great. You will do a lot of learning here. I'm also going to recommend Rich Dad/Poor Dad by R. Kyosaki. Those books will give you a good understanding of why we play the RE game.

Real Estate is really about relationships.  You need a great banker.  US Bank  is not the place to find one.   The podcasts will help.  You also need a team.  And after you  study, you have to do deal #1.  I've heard 90% of people who look into real estate research and research, but never go for the first investment.

After you learn, and in the middle of learning, because it never stops, find your first deal.
