Hello all my name is James I am from the NJ/NY area.  I just wanted to put a quick post here in the intro forums. I have been interested in RE investing for quite some time now and finally think it's time to put some action to my passion.  My first goal is to have my first rental property in 12 months time starting today.  With that being said i am looking for any advice on anything you think I should be learning from books I need to read to mentors I should be speaking to or RE investing clubs I need to be joining.  I am open to anything so please let me know where I need to start.
