Hey there BP community!
I've just joined and am looking forward to learning everything I can about RE investing. I'm super excited about what comes next and am looking forward to joining the ranks of the Real Estate Investment community.

Holy Cow!
I didn't expect to receive a reply on an intro post but am blown away by the support I've already received!
@Brandon Turner - thanks for the advice. I've already started to listen to the Bigger Pockets podcast. Besides being a great companion for my daily commute I already have some inspiration to continue listening, reading, and more importantly: doing!
@James Wise - appreciate the welcome!
@Alex Chin - I am coming from Kirkland but I'll be looking at areas within a reasonable drive from Kirkland. I'd like to target land-lording and flipping as the two areas that are most attractive to me, right now. As I listen to podcasts and read the forums I may start looking at new areas for investments.
@Mark Nolan Thanks for the welcome!
@Brian Fouts Thanks Brian. I'm definitely a newb and any information and ways to meet people are definitely appreciated. Thanks for the meetup.com suggestion. Are there specific groups or websites (besides BP) folks use to connect?
@Michele Fischer A profile photo? Yes, I guess I should let people know what I look like. Love the "For Rent" sign. Can't wait to have my own!
@Nghi Le Hey, I am currently in the software world myself. Never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up and real estate is where it's at! I definitely want to be more hands on when it comes to purchasing and fixing up. However, I think that I'd like to be less hands on when it comes to renting out the properties. Good property managers, handy-people, and contractors will definitely need to be on speed dial. :) As for coffee... I am there! Would love to hear how you and everyone else started out.
@Richard Rinehart I listen to the podcasts during my commutes as well. Sometimes I get a whole one in, other times I finish it up on the way home. Having just joined and found the podcasts I have a few years of podcasts ahead of me. My goal is to be finishing them up AFTER I've bought my first rental property!
Thank you all for the warm welcomes. I'm excited to learn.
