New to Austin hello!

Hi fellow investors! My name is Alexandra and my husband Gary and I just moved to South Austin about 1 month ago (we bought our 1st home). I am a huge fan of BP and listen to the podcasts everyday during my commute! Real estate really lights a fire in mme so I'm excited to soak up all the knowledge around here! So far, our plan is to rent out our current home after a year or so until another opportunity for buy and hold arises. We know there's a lot of competition so we're looking to stay on the OO side of things until we can build up some equity. We're totally new to this and I'm just really hoping to expand our vision especially in terms of financing our homes...it's getting really difficult with all the regulations now. I am also looking into the San Antonio market until Austin calms down a bit. Excited to share thoughts and meet new people on the forums! Thanks! Alex I
