New to Rhode Island real estate investing

Hi Everyone,

I am new to Rhode Island real estate investing and am here to learn more about it.

I've been doing a good share of reading books/researching, and I looking to start off with investing in a 2-3 family house, which I would buy + hold while living in one of the units for a couple of years.

I am particularly looking for some information on what area's in Rhode Island are currently better for investing than others, and what specific type of loan would be best for this (I was thinking an FHA loan), and where/how I could find if I would qualify for a loan and for how much.

Any other guidance or information as well would be great!

Thank you,

-Kevin
