Hello, I am currently in law enforcement, in Corpus Christi, TX and am looking to get into REI soon. I have always been interested in the rental property side of REI and am finally in a good place to save some money and straighten up my personal finances a little bit more. Other than renting out an old residence, far away, through the use of a property manager for four years, I don't have any other experiences in REI. I've been reading and learning over the past 8 years and am currently on my way to earning my B.A. in finance. I plan to start investing in triplexes or four-plexes, then upgrading to apartment complexes and further down the road, use some of the income for capital to get into some sort of business or businesses.
