Student looking for a real estate investing data set

Hello everyone, I am working on my PhD in computational statistics while trying to get stated as a real estate investor.  I was recently assigned a project in one of my classes where I am supposed to perform some type of classification on a data set of my choosing.  I thought that this would be a great opportunity to start combining my academic life with my investment life, but I have been having a hard time finding some actionable data.

Though I plan to in the future, I don't want to have to build a web scraper to pull this information from an MLS type site. So if anyone knows of some interesting real estate data sets I could work with (preferably in a CSV or excel like format), I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you very much.
