My name's Anthony E. Russell. I'm an actor (Pro moniker: T.E. Russell) who doesn't want his economic life held hostage by the morons who run the entertainment industry. I've read about real estate for years but never got my hands dirty. Enough is enough. I want to participate.

I discovered this forum a couple of months back and breathed a sigh of relief. This place is an extraordinary resource for people like myself who have a passion for real estate but don't have mentors.

My areas of interest are: Multi-family, small scale retail and storage facilities. I want start in multi -- affordable, in particular -- become an expert and move on to the next asset class, with development as my ultimate goal.

I've spent the past few weeks reading different threads on the forum and am impressed with not only the depth of knowledge the members possess but also the willingness, on their part, to help those of us who don't know as much. Such generosity of spirit speaks volumes about the type of community that has flourished here.

Kudos to Mr. Dorkin for planting the seed that fosters this wonderful environment and thank you all for your time and graciousness. I look forward to a great education.
