New Member in Vegas

Hi everyone!

I am an Attorney and business owner that recently moved my businesses to Vegas (yay tax breaks). I moved from the DC area where real estate was almost impossible to find good investments. I am looking to invest in property in Vegas and the Phoenix area. 

I am new to real estate investing other than home ownership. I have been researching and reading numerous books and watching the podcasts. I would like to meet some people in the local area that are in real estate investing. Any advice on areas, good agents, financing, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
