Furture Teenage Real Estate Investor

Hell, my name is Benjamin and I am a 17 year old high school student from Los Angeles, California.  I have a large interest in financial literacy and Real Estate and I am getting very serious about my future. As of right now I am currently in the information gathering stage and transitioning from gaining knowledge to finally taking action. I read a ton of real estate and finance books and I am very serious about pursuing a career in real estate investing. My current goal is to have completed my first real estate transaction before I turn 18(wholesaling or flipping). I am scheduled to attend my first REIC meeting to try to meet current investors and find a mentor. I know that my interests may not be popular among teenagers and my goal is will be a challenging one to accomplish but I feel as though if there is a will there is a way. I hope to use this website to be surrounded by people who think like me and are willing to help me along my journey. Nice meeting you all!

PS: My birthday is December 2 and my parents say they will sign legal documents for me and they support me 100% percent. I have 7 months to complete my goal. Think I can do it?

I'm in the exact same boat as you are Benjamin. My dream is to have a real estate investment company that operated all throughout my state. My parents insist that go to college and get a degree in business first, but honestly if you have the funds to start flipping houses and making investments then I say go ahead and flip your feat house, and the. Use the profit funds to pay for classes to get your License and then go from there.
