Hello,
I have finally decided to start making moves toward my real estate career plan. I am interested in becoming involved in Real Estate Investment, primarly flipping houses. The macro picture is to create a brand Investment company, that has a large network and reputation for quality work, with great properties. I know this will take time and patience but micro view is find first rehab property by January. Now to bring it up to present day game plan:
My First step has been research, and this is how I came across Biggerpockets.com. Really great forum, I can see how this will become a great tool to utilize, as I grow.
Second step is to find a solid real estate school, to become a Certified Real Estate Agent in California.
Can anyone recommend a Real Estate School in the Los Angeles area? I live in Marina Del Rey.
Third step is to get involved in Real Estate. I have a full time job that is Monday - Friday. I hope to gain knowledge from a Mentor and work experience. This would also be a great way to build a Real Estate Network? I would even consider Real Estate sales.
Any suggestions that would be a great weekend/nighttime Real Estate Investment/ Flipping internship or Mentoring program?
Are there any up coming Los Angles meet ups?
Forth step is to figure out the financial side of the investment. With good credit but very limited hard cash, I would like to lean on financing options, first time buyer programs ext. lWhere would be a great starting point on the financial side?
Fifth step step more research!
Sixth Step make an Investment
Any feed back, tips and suggestions is greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Joseph
