New Hampshire Newbies!
Hi everyone! I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Karianne and my husbands name is Shawn. We have been interested in REI for years but have finally decided to do something about it and we've starting looking into it over the past couple of months. We are taking in as much information as we can and BP has certainly been helpful with that! We have interest in rehabbing and wholesaling to start, and buying and holding/rental property later on. We are just not sure where or how to start and we know there is so much more to learn about our local market and REI in general! We are extremely motivated and excited to learn and get our feet wet. We would appreciate any advice or information that any of you experienced investors are willing to share. Specifically interested in information about wholesaling and whether it is legal in NH (I could not find any information on this), rehabbing, how to find wholesale buyers and money lenders. Basically the whole process as a newb! And of course looking to connect with investors, contractors..etc.. in New Hampshire!
Thank you!

@Karianne G., essentially, what you are looking for is an entire education. And guess what? It's right here. It just takes some digging. The search feature on BP breaks down the results into categories. So if you are looking for deal, you can search for "marketing for deals" or "direct mail" or "abandoned" or a million other terms you can think of. You'll find articles, podcasts, forums, etc on each topic. Every time you find a post with good information, it will give you an idea for another search.
Set your keyword alerts for topics and locations that interest you, so you'll be notified when the topic is discussed.
No, it's not laid out in a specific roadmap. But there is tons of info available. Go up to the learn tab, and notice the free how-to guides and the bigger pockets bookstore. Listen to the podcasts on topics that interest you.
But there is far too much information to feed to you in a single post requesting that. It's something that you need to dig for. There is so much that you may be on information overload and feel that you can never connect the dots. So there is no one to take you by the hand and say, "first do this and then do that". But research is a good skill to develop if you are going to be a real estate investor.
I hope it doesn't sound like I'm berating you. Simply pointing out all the resources that are free to get you started on your journey. Good luck!
