New to BP and REI

Hello BP community,

I have recently joined this community after finding it researching another REI opportunity in which I am not going forward with thanks to the information I read on a blog here. Seems as though this was meant to be so Im embracing that fact and am looking forward to gaining knowledge and experience in the REI world, so here I go. About me: Im 44 and live and work in Washington state with my wife and 5 kids (4 living at home) and am looking to start a REI business locally and see where this goes from there. Looking to purchase my first REI and find my niche, grow and learn, and then repeat. So far I have inquired about properties on Craigslist, sat in at an investment meeting with some hard money foreclosure lenders, flippers, and that was interesting to say the least. Looking to get some traction going so I dont get unmotivated and have all the required reading material to help "think and grow rich" etc. Looks like the market is picking up and I might be about a few years short of the low, but hopefully its not to late to get started so here I go. Thanks for reading my initial post, will be posting more as I grow and learn this business with you all.

Sincerely,

Michael D. Smith
