Hello World,

My name is Bart Ford. I've owned a small commercial space in Tulsa for 9 years. I used it for a while, now I lease it out. I'm currently looking to expand my real estate portfolio, but through residential rentals.

I work full time as a research assistant at the Laureate Institute for Brain Research and part time at the Center for Genetics at St Francis Hospital (although I plan on leaving that position soon after finding my first deal). The lab director at the genetics lab, who is nearing retirement, has done well with both rentals and fix-and-flips. He encouraged me to get started so a few months ago I started reading all the books I could. Now I'm networking and actively searching for deals.

If anyone in the Tulsa area want to grab a happy hour beer sometime, hit me up!

Bart

Hi @Bart Ford

Welcome! I think you'll find Tulsa to be a great buy and hold market.

Let's hope oil prices stabilize so the local economy stays strong and rents stay solid!

Nate
