New investor headed to Denver, CO

Hi all,

Noob here. I've been devouring the knowledge on this site for about a month now.

I'm currently in the Tampa/Miami, FL area, looking to sell my Clearwater, FL home and move to Denver. Loan: $163K, Appraised @ $235K a year ago, and I'll put about $7K into it before it sells (carpeted to laminate stairs, fresh paint, fresh grout in baths, new front door and rear sliding doors).

Will pay 5% down on my new home and use the rest to begin real estate investing.

I do corporate finance, and work for a huge company that probably made the phone you're using. My wife is currently taking the CO real estate classes and will be licensed before we move.

My goals are to flip a home or two and use those profits to begin purchasing rentals.

Hello world!

Welcome @Jeff Easey always good to have a new Coloradan.  If your wife is looking for a brokerage I'd be happy to chat about local options.  Also, @Theresa W. may want to connect with you. She's here in CO but shopping in Clearwater.
