Hello,

My name is Jackson Wells.  I am originally from Boston, Ma, but now go to school in Tampa, Florida.  I received my real estate license in the state of Massachusetts over this past summer.  While working as a residential rental agent from May-August I grossed over $30,000.  My goals in real estate, however, differ from my current experience.  After I graduate college in 2017 I would like to get involved in commercial real estate.  Another goal of mine is to own an investment property somewhere in the Tampa Bay area before I receive my diploma in the spring of 2017.  Since I am new to BP please let me know what you think of my initial post and go easy on me because I am new to the site :).  Any help or advice would also be appreciated as always.

Thanks for your time.

@Jackson Wells Hey Jackson, it was a great start to make $30,000 while your still in college.  Are you going to focus on commercial real estate in Tampa when you graduate? Is there a certain area you want to focus in? Retail/Office leasing or investment sales.  If I were you I would try to link up with a commercial broker in the area you want to work in.   If you have any specific questions in commercial real estate just shoot.
