New from N central Ohio

Hello eveyone,

My name is Mark and I live in Vermilion Ohio. I'm new to REI. The only property I have bought to date isn't likely to make me any money but it will provide a nice place to build a retirement home. Though I'm sure I could flip it for a profit.

I have been lurking here for about a week or so and had to get my account fixed before I could post.

I'm happy to have found this place as I have been doing research on the internet for a little over a year and have come to realize that the best way to get involved with REI is to learn from people who have once been where I'm at.

I'm 53 now and wish I would have been smart enough to have done this a long time ago. I'm hopeing if this works out well it will be a good way to supplement my retirement.

I'd like to get into some buy and hold for rentals to start off. Flipping is also a interest of mine but I think I'd perfer to get a few rentals under my belt first.

If there is anyone local who would like to help, meet or just talk let me know.

@Chris Martin I'm looking in Lorain and Erie countys. I should have a boat in the water when you get here so if you want to fish let me know. Love those Lake Erie Walleyes.
